The one issue that always confused me about Jax & Gia’s relationship was why Jax left Gia the first time. It is a must that you listen to AFTERBURN first though, if you haven’t already, as this provides the ending for Jax & Gia. I was primed and ready for more Jackson Rutledge. This book was exactly what I wanted and needed in the moment. It is a sexy, sassy tale about finding strength in who you are through the people you love. Sylvia returns with the sequel and conclusion to Jax and Gia’s story and it was wonderful. Good Listening Book At $7.34 Bargain Price I love the characters, all the extended family and all that and I absolutely LOVE the ending! Thank you Sylvia Day for another good one. There is some great hotness here, narrator was good as always. It is easy to be mad a Jax in the beginning but once we know the whole story we love him and forgive him, at least I did, it took Gia longer.

I love a guy who knows what he wants and goes after it. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE a man who loves a woman and who pursues her. The "climax" scene was a bit obvious not maybe the exact outcome but there was enough foreshadowing. I thought Gia was a bit too obstinate, if you love him you love him, try it or don't but come one. This story is short so there isn't a ton of depth, I would have read more from this couple but that said, I liked them. That said, you really can't complain about Sylvia Day! There is a difference in quality, style and ability when we are reading from her. Winners will be contacted via the email address used to enter. So this is 2 shorts in 1 which I appreciate!! Thank you for putting them together! I will almost never get a book under 7 hours unless it is really cheap and a part of a series. In the cutthroat business world, one adage rules all: keep your enemies close and your ex-lovers closer … The inner circle of glamour, sex, and privilege was Jax's playground – but this time, I knew the rules of the game. Unlike the last time we'd drifted into each other's lives, I knew exactly what I was dealing with … and how addictive his touch could be. I wasn't the girl he once knew, but he hadn't changed. Under the tutelage of Lei Yeung, one of the sharpest businesswomen in New York, I had picked up a thing or two since Jax walked away. Walking into a deal I'd worked hard to close. In a way I did both when I took Jackson Rutledge as a lover.
